Vision @ working environment

Industry

Our experience shows that industry sees soil and groundwater remediation as an added problem that they are not well equipped to deal with. At Groundwater Technology we manage the whole project within the clients constraints, implementing the best options available to address their contamination issues. We regularly liaise on behalf of the client with all key stakeholders including regulatory authorities, contractors and other third parties.

Our policy is to take full responsibility of the remediation project from initial negotiations to formal closure of the

Petroleum & Chemical Industry

The petroleum and petrochemical industries around the world process vast quantities of liquid products. The processing stage brings inevitably leaks and spills. Like all other business facilities, the site soils require regular maintenance. For soils, this involves checking to ascertain their suitability to continue providing a safe working environment and correcting situations that are unsatisfactory.

New contaminant release into the soils and groundwater due to a breakdown in the integrity of infrastructure, mechanical failure or human error may occur at any time.

Once detected fast implementation of the correct remediation technology can help to reduce the environmental impact and can usually be implemented while business continues as normal and with minimum disruption.

Built Environment

In today’s society space is an issue within the built environment in Dutch towns. Time often is not an issue. Excavation, or in situ remediation, leads to unacceptable nuisance for the citizens in the neighbourhood. Extensive in situ approaches are the perfect solution. Groundwater Technology injects smart mixtures of active agents, which lead to gradual remediation. Often as little as one singe injection event is enough, followed by regular monitoring.
